I'm Sorry

Sorry for not being your knight in shining armor,
For not being your prince charming,
The pain in my heart hurts so much,
That it is almost dead,
If I were to shrivel up and turn to dust,
Would you spread me around or throw me in the garbage,
As of now I expect nothing more than being put to the trash,
Though I don't blame you,
It is my stupidity that I blame,
My laziness,
My selfishness,
For you were and are my world,
And what do I do, I put me before you,
How can anyone love a person like me,
It's not like I'm special,
You can pretty much say I'm worthless,
Though if I did try my best I doubt we would be where we are now,
My heart would still be filled with happiness,
Instead of the now, nothing but bitter sadness…

I'm Sorry

Sorry I couldn't be a better man,
Though deep down I tried,
But I'm just as good as the next blind man,
I know there were signs,
But like most men, I was too proud to see them,
I tried to be your everything,
But as life works I'm your nothing,
I hurt so bad,
From the most inner depths of me,
I sometimes wonder now why I'm even alive now,
What is my purpose?
All I want to do is break down,
There isn't enough tears in 10,000 men to shed on how sorry I am,
If I wept, all I would do is drown myself,
It is my worthlessness that is killing me,
I ache so bad when I see your beautiful face,
It's as if my heart is going to explode,
I could never blame or hate you,
For I hate myself for letting you go,
I hate myself so much that I wish I was Six feet under...

I'm Sorry

Sorry for not being able to be strong,
Deep down I'm so weak,
I'm the baby that shouldn't of made it,
I shouldn't even of had a chance,
Because what good am I if I can't even keep the love of a goddess,
Eros is a dirty dealer,
This is my apology,
My amends,
For me not being everything in the world to you,
All I am is a drowned fish in a huge ocean,
A throw away,
A shriveling rose with only one petal,
Flick me and I'm gone,
I'm sorry.....
